Cabo da Roca to Porto
Mostly a travel day with stops on the way, from Cabo da Roca, just west of Sintra, along the coast north to Porto (avoiding the highway where possible). Cabo da Roca is Europe's western most point. Crowded with tourists. Next a stop at Adraga beach (for more sand), on to Santa Cruz and Formosa beach. Up the road to Piniche to see the castle and city centre. Then on to Nazarè and its lighthouse, under which I discovered there's an pretty cool surfing museum (360s). From there it was off to Porto, and a quick stop into Parca Liberdadè, the large square in the city centre, before heading to Campo base for the next few days.
