After finding an old cellphone, Emma (Cristin Milioti) discovers it belonged to a boy (Skyler Gisondo) who went missing 15 years ago. Not only that, but she learns about another girl (Nina Bloomgarden) who went missing the same day. Both were guests of a resort that was destroyed just after they were reported missing. When she tells her husband Noah (William Jackson Harper) that she wants to investigate, he agrees to try to solve the case. (Season 1 Episode 1).
Synopsis: A multi-generational, coming-of-age love story disguised as a fast-paced mystery about the disappointment of time. An anniversary trip puts a marriage to the test when the couple finds themselves embroiled in one of the Yucatan’s most bizarre unsolved mysteries that took place fifteen years prior.
