Do yo Give A Goat???? ........... A Goat for Christmas!
One of our friends asked us how they could help one family this Christmas.... Without thinking twice I said: You could buy them a Goat!
Now that I have your attention... Let me Elaborate.

Sometimes when I come back to the USA I go thru culture shock. Because we have SO much of everything. Now that Ashlee and I live in Mozambique its our privilege to give something to those who have nothing.
We came up with this idea for Christmas, Yeah I know its sounds like a commercial cliche. But this is for Real!
Any amount you give will be used to gift something for a select group of people in need.
--One goat is Equivalent to 2.5 weeks worth of wages in Moz--
$750 Mzn will buy 3 Chickens (About $12 US Dollars)
$3500 Mzn will buy one female Goat (About $55 dollars)
We have a few widows in mind for this, we will be gifting them one of the two according to the need:
2 chickens 1 rooster $12
or
1 Female Goat $55

The idea is that the person or family would benefit from either the eggs from the chickens or the possibility of having a Kid (baby goat) and milk, However I cannot guarantee they will not simply Kill and eat your gifts as soon as they receive them.
We will take and send pictures along with the names and pictures of the people who you personally helped.

PS: if you are a Vegan or have issues with the idea of someone killing and consuming animals we can use the money to buy 2 Sacks of Maiz and 1 Sack of Beans. (this is the staple food)
