How to prune a fiddle leaf fig
What is up you guys! Spring is in the air so its time to prune my fiddle leaf figs (ficus lyrata)! Spring and Summer is the active growing season and recommended pruning time. In today's video I will be giving a pruning demonstration on two different Fiddle Leaf Fig Plants to encourage branching to shape the plant into tree form.

The first pruning was done at 53 inches just about (4 1/2 feet). That initial pruning encouraged several branches in its place. I then pruned each of those branches at 8 inches and two branches grew in its place. You can see this demonstration better in the video. I hope this helps!
