Mind Controlled LED Blink
=====================
Electroencephalography (EEG) is an electrophysiological monitoring method to record electrical activity on the scalp that has been shown to represent the macroscopic activity of the surface layer of the brain underneath. It is typically non-invasive, with the electrodes placed along the scalp. Electrocorticography, involving invasive electrodes, is sometimes called intracranial EEG. ------------ Source Wikipedia
It's a very vast field. But here i have tried to explain how to control a LED or Motor with using the Brainwaves & according to our Focus level. It's a application based project. We can use it on Robotics & IoT (Internet of Things) applications. We know that our brain radiates different frequencies in different moods, Gamma greater than 30(Hz), BETA (13-30Hz), ALPHA (8-12 Hz), THETA (4-8 Hz), and DELTA(less than 4 Hz). So, here we collect the frequencies using electrode then feed the analog data to amplifiers then gain it & filter it out, We get the amplified signal, This signal feed to the MCU (Microcontroller) & according to data, blink the LED's. This signal varies according to our focus level.
Also see that, To catch the EEG signal we also develop the EMG (Electromyography) device. You can see on the graph the pick of blinking eyes.
