Get a glimpse of what makes Dickinson ISD unique in our State of the District “By the Numbers” video! With 16 campuses serving 12,500 students, DISD is a community united by student success and innovation. Our 2024 graduates earned $3.6 million in scholarships, with 25 students achieving associate degrees and 717 earning industry certifications in CTE pathways.
In athletics, 29 teams or athletes became district champions, and in fine arts, 10,700 students shine, with 26 reaching national competitions. Behind them are 2,055 dedicated staff members, including 1,000 teachers, who inspire students every day. Our food service team fuels learning with 2 million meals served, while our transportation team ensures 7,000 students travel nearly a million miles safely each year.
From energy-saving initiatives to advanced technology in every classroom, DISD is dedicated to a bright, sustainable future. And with 16 officers on campuses daily, our Gator Wellness program supports both safety and mental well-being.
