Measurements, and the science behind them, are key to the design of modern RF/ Wireless systems. And while the devices we’re designing are evolving rapidly, the instruments making these key measurements of performance have been slower to evolve. With an increasing pressure for profitability in wireless companies and increasing complexity in future standards like 6G and the adaption of embedded, trustworthy AI, it’s time for re-thinking of how instrumentation hardware and software is designed and how instrumentation is used as part of the design process.
