Keeley Compressor Plus - Review
The Keeley Compressor Plus is a high quality compressor, which features an expander circuit to increase the gain of fading out notes proportionally, to improve the note endings.
We have a blend control, so it does parallel compression and allows you to keep only the dry signal, in order to use this pedal as booster to hit the frontend of your amp.
The main controls are sustain and level, which are the same featured on the classic Dynacomp, plus a tone control to roll off or add some high frequencies.
Finally a toggle switch to handle single coils or humbuckers, similar to the one featured on the EHX Tone Corset (see my review here • Electro-Harmonix Tone Corset Compressor ).
Long story short, this is an excellent compressor, very versatile and most importantly ultra transparent, to keep your guitar's tone intact!
