I made this finger jointed chess box to hold some really nice House of Staunton Chess Pieces. It is made of ambrosia maple from @livingknotlumber. The chess pieces are a reproduction of the set used in the 1939 Olimpico Tournament.

I used my box joint sled to make the joinery. It has a raised panel top made on the router table. My Festool router was used for the slotting. Everything else was done on the Sawstop table saw. The finish is tung oil and lacquer. And of course, everything came together on my TrackTubes MFT work station.
