What is meditation?
A great thing is that a lot of people are doing it nowdays. Meditation. To meditate. The action or practice of meditating. Middle English: from Old French, from Latin meditatio(n- ), from meditari. the act of giving your attention to only one thing, either as a religious activity or as a way of becoming calm and relaxed.
To me is a series of actions after I imagined what I want. If I want more calmness and awareness in my life, the practive of regular meditation has a key role. When I meditate I focus on one thing but I also accept the nature of me, my mind about wondering constantly in a constant flow of thoughts and emotions while I am alive. I love focus on my breath usually and when I focus somewhere else, I recodnize those other focuses and with serenity I go back to my breathing. I avoid meditating when I am too excited. I also do practicve some breathing to further calm myself before my practice.
In the end for me meditation is one of the best things that happened in my life.
