Today I am recreating a dress by Luly Yang that cost $12,000. It is a beautiful dress with feather ruffled tiers and I added my own twist on the bodice to extend the ruffles there. I created it using cotton sateen from New York Elegant Fabrics and feather trims from Etsy. The dress was sewn using a combo of vintage pattern Simplicity 2864 from 1949 and Lady Marlowe v-719 from 1952.
