Sewing a 1940s Dress that Shortens with Buttons | Vintage sewing project + sew with me
Today I am sewing a 1940s play dress that features puff sleeves, a gathered neckling, gatheres skirt, and buttons that can convert it to a minidress. The dress is made using a slate blue denim I picked up in Rome. The dress was made using vintage pattern New York 109.
