I looked up at Nicole confused. She was completly serious, and I didn't understand what she meant by having alot in common. She sighed, "I'll tell you why im here, ok? Then maybe you'll understand." I nodded, motioning for her to continue. "I was 15, im 19 now. It was dark, and me and my friends were playing a game called spotlight, where you hide somewhere, and the person with the flshlight has to find you. 5 of my friends were hiding, and I was looking for them..."
(Flashback to Nicole's story)
Nicole held the flashlight in her palm, moving it around, looking for her friends. They were all hiding around an abandoned farmhouse, and it was her turn to look for them. She walked towards the barn doors, she opened them and moved the flash light around. She jumped startled when she saw, Mr.Kavi's hound (dog). Mr.Kavi hated kids, teenagers, everyone. So he had his dog trained to attack. The dog growled at her, and steped towards her, she screamed and ran away from the barn, further and further. She stoped after a while. Taking a deep breath. She figured she was being stupid, scared of a dog. So she continued looking around for her friends.
She head footsteps behind her, and smiled to herself. She turned around, "I got you!" she giggled, poiting the flashlight at the figure, and stepped back when it wasn't her friends, "No, I got you." to male voice said. She apologized, "Im sorry, I thought you were my friends... I should go." she said, turning around, but the guy stopped her, "Or, you could stay here, and come with me." He said, he grabbed her arm, and started dragging her back to the farmhouse, she kept calling for help, but nobody heard heard her, after the guy brought her to the farmhouse, he raped her, and her pleads for him to stop meant nothing.
(end of flashback.)
Demi's eyes widened. Her and Nicole had alot in common. They were both raped when they were 15, and, in a barn. "Oh my gosh.... Im so sorry--" she shooked her head, "no need to apologize, it wasn't you. But thats not the whole story." she said, I looked up at her, waiting to hear more, "After raping me, he brought me to his house, and kept me there. He'd continue to rape me, and use me ask his slave. And his plan was to kill me later... But when he tried..." I looked up, "What happened when he tried?!" I asked her. She shrugged, "Well, he haven't tried yet." I raised an eyebrow, "Wait, yet? I don't get it. Did you get away?" she shooked her head, "No, I've been here every since then."
My eyes winded, and I became speechless.... "Nick... he raped you!?" I wispered loudly. She shook her head, "No, he saved me. He saved me from Joe. It was Joe, when he brought me here, I ended up falling in love with Nick, and everything fell into place. Joe and Nick are close, so when Nick told Joe to stay away from me, Joe listened, and found someone new." I looked down, "Me?" I mumbled, and looked up to Nicole, who was nodding.
