Originally apple was not going to have an app store, Steve Jobs wanted web apps through Safari to be what people used instead. And, imagine paying $10 for an iOS upgrade? Most likely there would be people that would pay $10 to not have apple intelligence on their phone LOL! Gotta love "AI".
