Yadhira's pov
I can't believe what he did! He is no was my best friend! How could he? All this time I was crying about if I had a family and he knew! He knew and didn't say a thing! And he wants to call him my best friend.
"Yadhira?" Kate asked me from the door. "Are you still mad at me?" she asked. Oh how can I be mad at her?
"No. come here." I told her and she ran to my bed. She jumped on it and cuddled with me.
"I am sorry. Riley told us not to tell you." She explained herself.
"It's okay, Kate. I am only mad at Riley." I kissed her forehead.
"I love you Yadhira. You remind me my old sister." She told me. Her sister was a year older than me. She was given in a family but they didn't want and Kate too. "One day I'll find her again." She promised.
"I know you will." I smiled at her. She wiped my few tears from my eyes and smiled.
"Can you tell me a story?" she asked timidly.
"Of course." I told her and I started telling her about Sleepy Beauty.
Riley's pov
"Yadhira is mad at me!" Sophie said.
"And me!" Ashley said.
"And me!" Jonathan said.
"Guys, she is only mad at me! I swear!" I told them.
"Let's go upstairs and see if you're telling the truth." Ashley said and held my hand. Sophie took my other hand and Jonathan followed from behind.
Slowly, I opened the girls' room door. "And they lived good and us even better." She finished telling a story to Kate.
"Yadhira!" Sophie said and ran into the room. She jumped on Yadhira's bed and hugged her. "I am sorry for not telling you! Are you mad at me?" she asked sweetly.
"Are you mad at me?" Ashley said and followed Sophie reaction.
"And me?" Jonathan said and crawled into the bed too.
"I am not mad at you guys." She said and kissed their head. I chuckled. She noticed me. "Guys can you go downstairs? I need to speak with Riley." She explained them. In a second they were out of the room.
"I am very mad, Riley. I want to kill you right now." She told me with anger.
"Yadhira, please listen to me." I wanted to explain her why I did this. I was in love with her. My first love. I loved her since we were five.
"I don't care Riley. Our friendship is over! I don't to see you again but since we are living in the same house I'll never talk to you again. And just so you know, I'll avoid you as much as I can from now." She told me and left the room wit a big BAM from the door. I lost my best friend because I was afraid of losing her. Well done Riley. Well done!
