Venti is a 5-star Anemo/Archer unit that you can only obtain on his limited banner.
Venti is considered to be one of the best units in the game due to his "black hole" ability that sucks in enemies in a wide range and makes it easy for the rest of your team to finish them off.
He is also good to have for everyday exploring due to his ability to create windcurrents that propel you up in the air, allowing you to get on top of buildings, rocks, or bridge gaps in general.
His overall utility and "limitedness" (meaning he's not going to be added to the Standard Wish after he's gone) make him essential to get in the eyes of many Genshin Impact players.
