Taking Your Own Baby Passport Photos – Studio & At Home
How do you take a passport photo of a baby? In this video, I'll show you my lighting setup and explain how I take passport photos for babies both in a photo studio and at home.
My approach varies depending on the baby's age. Babies from about six months old can usually hold their heads up on their own and are easy to photograph in someone's arms with the support of a parent. Younger babies, on the other hand, I photograph on a white blanket on the floor.
I'll also explain why I deliberately avoid using a flash and instead work with continuous lighting.
