Thank you for watching, everyone.
I created a new track using just three machines: the MC-707, SP-404SX, and CIRCUIT.
I used the MC-707 for the main sound, but I also used the SP-404SX for slightly languid vocals and the CIRCUIT to add arpeggios and decorative rhythms.

KEN MOTOYAMA Profile
As a child, I was profoundly impacted by the music of YMO and Kraftwerk, which ignited my passion for music.
After being baptized in techno, I explored various genres of music.
In the 90s, I became captivated by the allure of funk music, influenced by legends such as Earth, Wind & Fire, Prince, P-FUNK and Herbie Hancock.
After graduating from university, I began my musical journey as a keyboardist in a jazz-funk band in my hometown of Fukuoka, a path I pursued for many years.
However, alongside this, I encountered the sound of KEN ISHII, which reignited my attraction to techno.
This impact was as profound as my first encounter with YMO, leading me to secretly contemplate a return to my techno roots.
In 2019, I finally decided to leave the band to pursue a solo career, aiming to explore limitless possibilities.
Today, I perform as a machine DJ, playing techno using only hardware, without the aid of DAW.
Drawing from my extensive musical experience, I continue to pursue a unique sound.
Experience the intersection of machine sound and human sensibility in my distinctive techno sound.
