KORG KAOSSILATOR PRO+, GATE ARPEGGIATOR HYPER SOLO PERFORMANCE
Many of you who watch my channel are interested in the KAOSSILATOR.
So I'd like to show you this video.
This is a video of a solo performance using the KAOSSILATOR's gate arpeggiator.
I chose my favorite tone in the KAOSSILATOR, the electric lead tone "L022".
This tone is a bit like a flute, but it can be applied to a variety of songs.
In this performance, I turn off the gate arpeggiator when playing melodic music, and turn it on when playing fast.
Just by turning on the gate arpeggiator and rubbing the pad quickly left and right, you can play fast solos that cannot be expressed on a keyboard.
As an aside, the electribe plays the drums, bass, and chord parts, and the SP-404SX plays a sampled percussion loop.

As a child, I was profoundly impacted by the music of YMO and Kraftwerk, which ignited my passion for music.

After graduating from university, I began my musical journey as a keyboardist in a jazz-funk band in my hometown of Fukuoka, a path I pursued for many years.
However, alongside this, I encountered the sound of KEN ISHII, which reignited my attraction to techno.
This impact was as profound as my first encounter with YMO, leading me to secretly contemplate a return to my techno roots.
In 2019, I finally decided to leave the band to pursue a solo career, aiming to explore limitless possibilities.
Today, I perform as a machine DJ, playing techno using only hardware, without the aid of DAW.
Drawing from my extensive musical experience, I continue to pursue a unique sound that blends techno and funk.
