Chicago is a sanctuary city, meaning undocumented people can access city services--including police protection-- without fear of being turned over to immigration authorities. Now the election of Donald Trump--who has threatened to deport millions of undocumented residents--has led to new concerns in a city brimming with generations of immigrants.
