American Dipper - South Fork Eel River
The dipper is the only aquatic songbird in north America. It hunts along the shores of rivers and streams, diving underwater and walking along submerged to find prey. It eats many kind of insects that it can catch, as well as larger animals too. They are fun to watch as the bob up and down constantly!
