This family of river otters consisted of mom and two pups. They exited the water at a favorite haul-out location. There, they rolled around, groomed each other, groomed themselves, deposited scat and 'otter jelly,' scent marked by rubbing on logs and rocks, and generally had a great time! It was amazing to get to see them from up close. They ignored me as I filmed from the water, where I had been swimming.
