Since when I first found them in 2019, Kinokoteikoku has been one of my favorite bands. This soon proved bittersweet when I found out shortly later that they had disbanded just around 6 months prior. I can't believe it's already almost been 5 years since then.
In any case, I've always wanted to cover their music but not being a woman, let alone able to sing has always made that difficult. In any case, vocaloid has pulled through and enabled me to make what I think is a pretty faithful cover. I might try my hand at some other favorites by them such as 足首 and 夜鷹 in the future, but mixing sucks my soul dry and leaves me barren; left to the confines of genshin impact to recover...
Mixing was, as usual: a nightmare. But likewise once again I feel like I've learned a decent bit, particularly considering it's my first mix that's not completely metal based (although my cover of Planning for Burial's Whiskey and Wine comes close to the mixing style I also used here).
