This video is a quick educational piece about Sherwin Williams new Alkyd Hybrid trim paint. This product dries harder, self-levels without sagging and won’t amber over time. Emerald Urethane trim Enamel dries in humid environments (alkyds will experience prolonged drying periods in humid environments). Emerald has excellent blocking resistance. Excellent color and gloss retention on exteriors.
If you are looking for the benefits of an Alkyd product but don’t want to deal with the ambering/yellowing, sagging, dry time or odor Emerald is a good option. It can also be used on interiors or exteriors.
