In new Houdini versions (above H17), please use "Attribute expression" node instead of the "Point" node. In VEXpression drop-down menu, choose "Second Input's Position".

(Apologies for the sound quality)

This tutorial is split into 5 sections:

1. Scene setup
2. Infection/propagation/growth effects, where we're going to use VEX coding. It's inspired by VFX Hive quick tip:    • Video
3. Boxes - turning any geometry into boxes
4. Fracture simulation - making the dancing boxes character fall apart
5. Finishing the scene - shading, lighting, and rendering
