Shooting Crows Over Barley
Tom and I are called to a farm that have had part of a barley crop destroyed by the crows, to try and prevent the rest going the same way, we get the shotguns out in an attempt to put the birds off the field by thinning some of the numbers. We have a pretty good day, I shoot well which made a nice change, dropping birds that were some way out there. Tom struggled with the longer ones but thrived on the shorter shots (unlike me who missed the close ones!) We finished with a half decent bag and the farmer was happy.
