This is one of those days is just didn’t seem to miss. The corvids kept coming in and they kept dropping. They have been proving to be a big problem on the silage clamp at the other end of the field. They have been packing holes in the plastic and taking the food as well as defecating all over the cattle feed, which is a big disease risk, hence the numbers need to be thinned. The gamekeeper was very happy with the result today and I have been back a few times since for some more big days I was using the custom fit guard ear defenders today, they are a great bit of kit moulded to my ears and allow me to hear everything around me, but as soon as the gun goes off, the larger soundwaves get muffled, protecting my eardrums.
My shotgun was the Beretta a 400 and the Hide is from Riverside outdoors .
I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you for watching. Sorry they have been a bit thin on the ground lately. I have not managed to go out as often as I used to, I am now in Japan for the ski season but hope to get back Shooting in the spring, have a great winter.
