Part 4 - Forming on the Armature - Surface - Shadow -Texture
In this demonstration the surface of the sculpture will be worked by applying additional layers of plaster. The rasp or file will be used to further sculpt the form and to further investigate the shadows and textures that define and provide expression of the formal qualities created in this sculpture process.
Materials:
Wood rasp (metal) or rough metal file
80 grit sandpaper
180 grit sandpaper
No. 1 casting plater or wall plaster
1 quart container
stir stick
dust mask
rubber gloves
