Complex Numbers | Basic Operations (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division)
In this video we add, subtract, multiply, and divide complex numbers to see different basic operations with them. Addition and subtraction are quite the same and for multiplication and division we need to know some important properties that you can see in the examples. For example, i squared is minus one which is a real number.
The important thing about complex numbers is that we can write them in a way that the real and the imaginary parts are clear. It gives us the ability to easily graph them as you will see how in the next video.
