Description: The octopus is characterized by a roundish body, equipped with eight thick tentacles equipped with two rows of suckers. Among the tentacles is the mouth, consisting of a robust horny beak. The eyes are big and well developed. The consistency is soft to the touch, the skin can change color and surface according to needs of camouflage or mood changes. Like the cuttlefish, even the polyps have a gland that produces a dark liquid contained in a bag. The octopuses are able to swim very quickly, collecting water in the part of the body called mantle and expelling it abruptly from the siphon.
