Best Locations to Farm Crops | Valheim
In this video, I show you the best and worst places to build your farm on Valheim (PC/Xbox) in 2023.
There are currently seven farmable crops in game: carrots, turnips, onions, flax, barley, jotun puffs, and magecaps. Each crop has it's own requirements and will only grow if they are met.
The best biome to build your farm in is the Plains since it supports every crop except the Mistlands-tier jotun puffs and magecaps.
Hypothetically, the best place to build your farm is on the border between the Plains and the Mistlands, as this would allow you to grow every crop in the same location.
The worst biome to build your farm in is the Mountains, since no crop can actually grow there.
