Create Monochrome Launcher Icon in Android Studio
Video shows you how to create monochrome variant for the launcher icon of your Android app. This icon is used in some launchers like the Pixel Launcher. Currently this is in beta and it works only on Android Tiramisu which will be released later this year but in the future this will be standard for the next OS releases. The video can help you prepare your app.
You must use vector drawable as a monochrome icon. I use an online converter to convert regular image to vector drawable.
