Easy Cable Drag Chain Installation for Xtool D1 Laser
For those who want to neaten the cable travel on their Xtool D1 laser,
This is a simple solution that takes only a couple of minutes and uses the existing wiring.

Note that some folks have tried this and said their cable wasn’t quite long enough. It’s entirely possible that the shipped cable length might vary, but this obviously worked on my unit. Some additional thoughts: Note that the cable does not enter and exit through the chain end, but instead a few links in. Make sure the ends are fastened as shown in the video (it might help to move the ends slightly in towards the center of the machine). Make sure the loop at the front of the unit is cinched down tight with a zip tie, so it doesn’t move.
