Pre CSX Merger 1st Gen EMD's Still Kickin in 2024
During my trip down south in July on 2024, I was able to catch the Caldwell County Railroad and the South Branch Valley Railroad using former Seaboard, Chessie, and B&O power. On the CWCY, the crew briefly shifted their "yard" before going to the NS interchange where they would tie down soon after due to NS not bringing the majority of their cars. As for South Branch, the crew their made a north bound run from Petersburg, working Moorefield, and eventually Green Spring using a Chessie GP9.
