Spongebob hijacked while airing on TV. 7/25/2005

7/25/05: interestingly, back in 2005 a friend of mine showed me a recording of a very odd broadcast on nick he had captured on VHS. recently I found this on my hard drive and apparently i have not seen this footage uploaded elsewhere on the internet, which is odd because usually hijacks are something that gain a lot of people's attention, and my friend could have not been the only one who had captured this footage.
my theory is that the hijack took place on a local nickelodeon feed on the US, and since my friend lived on that local, he managed to capture the footage of the hijack at the right time and recorded what was on the tape with a phone and have sent it to me that day. i have not seen a news report on this though and idk if the person who did this was ever identified. there's just little to no information about this at all, which leaves many questions about this satellite/signal hijack unanswered.
thankfully, if it wasn't for me saving the footage and having it on my old hard drive, this footage would probably never resurface on the internet, and many wouldn't know that this hijack had ever happened. there's no higher quality version of this anywhere on the internet, and this is currrently all that we have. if you have more info please send it on the comments. thank you.
