PageProof has some great learnings in the BNZ Shouldertap program, during there US visit. It's so important to focus on the language in your market, and what resonates, don't call it San Fran, it's san francisco and yes that matters, and lastly, the sheer scale of the US market.
PageProof was one of Four Kiwi startups selected to take part in the BNZ Shouldertap program in Silicon Valley earlier this year for a month in a new initiative with Kiwi Landing Pad in the US.
The Kiwi Landing Pad was co-founded by Trade Me founder Sam Morgan and John Holt in 2011 and partners with the government to "soften the landing" of aspiring Kiwi tech startups into San Francisco. Mr Holt said to date it had directly helped around 80 companies and doubled that number of entrepreneurs, including those who learned quickly their business idea wasn't going to fly.
