Norton's theorem and Norton's equivalent (with solved example):
Norton's theorem states that any linear circuit with voltage, current sources and resistances can be replaced by an equivalent circuit consisting of a current source( In) in parallel with a resistance (Rn).

Norton' theorem provides a simplified Norton's equivalent circuit that can be substituted in place of a more complex circuit system.
Norton's theorem and Thevenin Theorem are among the most important theorems in circuit theory.
