Ample Bass TR6 Loop/Improv
Having some fun with the Ample Bass TR6 (John Patitucci's signature 6-string) and a looper. There are lots of videos showcasing this bass as a traditional bass already, but the big selling point of this model is its versatility, so I tried something a little different here. Hope you enjoy!
I ran the first track through Valhalla Supermassive to create a textural drone. The next track is a chord progression reversed and run through Deelay. Next I overdubbed a pad made by sampling a reverb tail from the TR6 and running it through a bunch of plugins. Finally, some improv to show off the excellent sampling job Ample Sound did with this bass!
