Just over a decade ago, a single engine aircraft was seen to fall out of the sky near Morristown, New Jersey. It smashed into the motorway below, killing all five occupants. Three adults and two children. Miraculously, nobody driving on the road at the time was harmed.
In this video, we look at this case in detail. Why did this aircraft plunge nearly 18,000 feet in less than a minute? In this case study, we piece together the events that led to the tragic loss of an entire family, and discuss what we as pilots can learn from them.
