Asus X550C LCD panel replacement
An Asus X550C laptop presents an LCD panel fault with the lower 80% of the screen showing a pink hue in BIOS and additional vertical streaks at higher resolutions. This particular model is a bit trickier to work on due to the touchscreen digitiser.
The panel in question was an LTN156AT20-P01 by Samsung, the replacement was a compatible CHIMEI panel from eBay.
