(CLOSED!) Hosting MW2 CFG Lobby (CLOSED!)
I'm hosting a CFG lobby right now, if you want to get in just add MattDEXModder on PSN. I'll accept your request then you'll be able to join. I only ask one simple thing: If you're going to join, I would very much appreciate it if you know exactly what you're doing. I'm hosting this whilst doing other things at the same time, so I won't be able to troubleshoot your issues. As long as you follow the instructions below, you shouldn't need any help. :P
Instructions:
1.) Download a CFG menu & put it on the root of your fat32 formatted USB drive, it will come with a buttons_default.cfg & possibly other dependencies. As long as you copy the files to your USB drive exactly as they are in the archive you downloaded, you won't have any trouble.
2.) Put the USB drive in the right USB socket on the front of your console. (Not right as in correct, right in the directional sense.)
3.) Join my lobby; back out; go to splitscreen; load up a splitscreen game without changing any of the game settings; start the game; spawn into the map; press SELECT on your controller; back out of the game; go back to online & start a private match.
That's it, you're done. Please take in to account that some CFG menus require other steps, but if that's the case then I should hope the aforementioned steps are included, wherever you downloaded the CFG from.
I cannot stress this part enough, please don't ask me why your CFG menu isn't working, because I don't know. I don't use CFG myself, so I would have no idea how to troubleshoot. Besides, it could be an issue specific to the CFG that you've downloaded, so general knowledge probably wouldn't get you very far.
I hate to seem like I'm being unfair, but I'm doing this in my spare time among doing other things. As long as you follow these steps exactly as they are presented to you, anything that goes wrong won't be my fault. xD
