➜ Karen Read Trial Update - Week 1 is in the books in the case of Massachusetts v. Karen Read, charged for the murder of Boston police officer, John O'Keefe, her boyfriend of two years. "What, if anything...", the court's only fan, "heavy sighs", 1-word objections, snow (I think), leaf blower, solo cups...a lot's happened this first week so let's get caught up.
➜ Kohberger Discovery Motions - to seal, or not to seal, that is the question. The attorneys sparred this week over discovery motions and whether certain of those motions and the resulting hearings should be sealed. Judge Judge, as usual, had his thoughts as well.
➜ SBF Snitching on Influencers - the lawsuits against the various FTX influencers took a turn recently when Mr. Bankman-Fried (Bankman-Not-So-Fried) decided to cooperate...but maybe not in the fashion that one would expect of the individual that sought out the influencers being sued for their help promoting FTX...
