Neoprimitivi are a crazy asteroid in the galaxy of Italian music.
They come from Rome, they’re young, and six of them get on stage even though there are seven in the band.
When asked what kind of music they make, they like to answer: “krautrocksampler.”
Psychedelic, proudly no wave, lovers of post-punk and noise, they don't care for simple things: their debut track is actually a 21-minute suite divided into five movements, where influences from Italian beat music, The Velvet Underground, ambient music, noise, and funk emerge.
A lot of stuff, all together, enough to make your head spin.
