A world both concrete and abstract, dreamy and romantic, is the one created and narrated by Alessandro Ragazzo. A singer-songwriter, guitarist, and multi-instrumentalist born in 1994 in the province of Venice, Alessandro thrives on opposites, rejecting coherence and considering art and music the only means to narrate and rediscover the beauty in our surroundings. After graduating in jazz guitar from the Venice Conservatory, he moved to Rome to attend the two-year Officina Pasolini program. He collaborates with Rokovoko Records on the writing and production of songs and soundtracks for films and TV series, such as "Fiore Bianco," written for the Rai miniseries "Per Elisa - Il caso Claps," or the single "Cover Me," chosen for the series "Noi Siamo Leggenda" (Rai Fiction, Prime Video).
On May 29, 2020, he released the EP "Ricordi?" on Rokovoko Records, marking a new beginning for Alessandro: the new work, entirely in Italian, explores new sounds through modern and elaborate songwriting. The music video for "Domani" was also chosen by the MEI among the 45 best videos released in 2020 and won the "Artefici del nostro tempo" competition organized by the Venice Biennale. In 2023, it was one of the projects selected to participate in the Reset Festival's ReHub in Turin, having the opportunity to work with Davide "Divi" Autelitano, vocalist and bass player for the band "I Ministri."
Over the years, Alessandro has shared the stage with important artists such as Giorgio Poi, Galeffi, Generic Animal, Matt Elliott, Hugo Race, L.A. Salami, Alberto Ferrari, and La Municipal, even opening for some dates on Marlene Kuntz's Catartica 2024 tour. From October to December 2024, he performed throughout Italy, opening for the 26 dates of the tour for the new album by Discoverland, a project by Roberto Angelini and Pier Cortese, which also features Niccolò Fabi.
Preceded by award-winning singles such as "Piove" (Best Author at the Bindi Prize), the apocalyptic ballad "Non saremo felici mai," the harmonious "Edera," the therapeutic "Sogni," and the captivating "Il rito delle ombre," his new debut album, "Tutte le nostre città," will be released on April 11th. This retro-inspired album blends the sounds of Anglo-Saxon alternative music with the soundscapes of 1960s soundtracks. A journey through Alessandro's life, the singer-songwriter's elegant writing intertwines with a dreamlike soundscape, creating a mystical and hypnotic musical tale that leaves listeners feeling like they're part of a majestic escape through all our cities.
