Signature Day at Pompeys Pillar
On July 25, 1806, Captain William Clark of the Lewis & Clark Expedition, stopped by Pompeys Pillar and inscribed the towering rock, which remains a lasting piece of evidence from their journey. Pompeys Pillar National Monument held a "Signature Day" event with the public to celebrate the milestone.
