Black Desert Online - Life Mastery Guide - Gathering
Gathering is the literal "grind" of Lifeskilling, without it much of every other lifeskill is kinda lacking in fundamental basic resources to get going. It's annoying and a lot of work but someone's gotta do it. Thankfully it's pretty easy money and decent rewards for progression for rather not really much going on other than running from gather point to gather point.
As Mastery increases towards 2000 your base roll of 1-4 will be increased to 2-6, 4-8, x-16, x-20.
If you do this activity a lot I highly recommend getting a Hedgehog pet active while performing Gathering, obtained via gifting an account to friend that levels past 30, from events, from pearlshop of any Tier. Higher Tier Hedgehog is of course very valuable for a higher chance for double proc on gathered items, effectively cutting your time in half for resources you are seeking. Hard and Sharp shards are not affected.
