In this talk Albertas presents his insights into the field of optical DNA mapping (ODM).
He explains why it is useful and what are the data analysis methods and applications with the outputs of ODM, i.e. barcodes.
About the speaker:
Albertas Dvirnas currently works as a PhD researcher at the department of Astronomy and Theoretical Physics, at Lund University, Sweden. Previously, Albertas has a bachelor and a master's degree in applied math from his studies in Lithuania. He first came to Sweden as an exchange student and chose to stay. In addition to his research, he is proficient as a poet and as an officer of confusion to friends.
