Next Generation Web Servers by Jeppe Hallgren
In this talk, Jeppe Hallgren, founder of the Danish bioinformatics startup BioLib, gives an introduction to emerging technologies used for secure computation on biological data. The talk includes a short interactive workshop on how to build your own secure web servers, and Jeppe shares some of his experiences with startups and bioinformatics.
Jeppe Hallgren is the founder of BioLib, a Danish bioinformatics startup, that is trying to make analysis of biological data more accessible. Jeppe is the author of OpenProtein, an open-source machine learning framework, and did his undergrad in Computer Science at the University of Cambridge and subsequently studied bioinformatics at the University of Copenhagen.
