This Marriott hotel boasts a fantastic location in the heart of downtown San Diego. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, offering all the necessary amenities, plus complimentary water bottles and snacks available at the front desk. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, guaranteeing a restful night's sleep. The front desk staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
The hotel's pool and hot tub are lovely spots to relax, although they do close at 10 pm. The fitness center is well-equipped with a variety of machines and even a shower stall.
Both the pool and fitness center are conveniently located on the 3rd floor.
The only drawback to this hotel is the parking situation. While the valet attendants are professional and courteous, valet parking is the only option, and it comes with a hefty price tag of $56 per night.
