FRAGM "live in De Shuffle" april 7 1997
Archive.
Today, april 7 2022, as I (= BA) upload this video here on YouTube, it is exactly 25 years ago that my band FRAGM did this rare concert. We had only a few gigs unfortunately because we played weird own and therefore unknown material that wasn't pure jazz or rock or impro. It is a little bit sad that we had so few gigs because the material we played demanded quite a lot of work. We had rehearsed, once a week, for months and months to get this shit together. And since I was in a rather productive period I constantly deivered new pieces for us to do.
So here and there things are a tiny bit sloppy, but what does come across I think is the energy of the music and the fun we had playing it. I love these guys. And there was great humor in that band: the rehearsals were hard work, but we combined it with a lot of crazy & sick laughs.
